Our current approach to cookies
Codingvila Tools does not itself set first-party tracking or analytics cookies as part of tool functionality. However, this site displays advertising served through Google AdSense, which may place cookies in your browser, as described below. Our static hosting provider may also process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and request logs, as part of delivering the site; this is described in more detail in our Privacy Policy.
Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to display advertising on this site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies, such as the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites across the internet. These cookies may be used to measure ad performance and, where permitted, to personalize the ads you see. We do not control how Google's advertising cookies operate; Google's own use of data is governed by Google's advertising policies and its explanation of how data is used across partner sites.
Consent for visitors in the EEA, UK, and similar regions
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with similar consent requirements, you will be asked to provide consent before non-essential advertising cookies are set, through a consent management platform presented on your first visit. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time through that same consent tool, typically accessible via a link in the site footer or by clearing your browser's stored consent for this site.
Opting out of personalized advertising
You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising served by Google in several ways: through Google Ads Settings if you have a Google Account, or through industry opt-out tools such as aboutads.info and the Your Online Choices platform, where available in your region. Opting out of personalization does not stop advertising from appearing on the site; it means the ads you see will no longer be based on your browsing history.
How we use local storage
Separately from advertising cookies, certain preferences, such as your selected theme, favorited tools, and recently used tools, are stored on your device using your browser's local storage feature. Local storage is technically distinct from a cookie, though browsers and privacy tools often group both under the general category of site data. These preferences are used only to personalize your experience on this device and never contain the text, files, or other content you submit to our tools for processing.
What this storage does not include
We want to be explicit about the boundaries of this storage: neither our local storage preferences nor the advertising cookies described above include the content of anything you convert, format, or otherwise process using our tools. Tool input and output are processed locally in your browser and are not used for advertising purposes.
Managing and clearing your preferences
You are always in control of stored data on your device. You can remove cookies and local storage at any time through your browser's site data or privacy settings, which typically allow you to clear storage for a specific site. Clearing this data will reset your theme selection, favorited tools, recently used tools, and any advertising consent choices on that device, and you may be asked to provide consent again on your next visit.
Changes to this policy
If we introduce additional cookies or advertising partners in the future, we will update this page in advance and, where required, present an appropriate consent mechanism before those cookies are enabled. We encourage you to revisit this page periodically if you have concerns about how cookies and browser storage are used on this site.
Questions about this policy
If you have questions about our use of cookies or browser storage, please reach out through our Contact page. For broader questions about data handling, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
