What this tool does
Image Comparison and Pixel Diff gives you a fast, focused way to compare two browser-supported images with side-by-side previews, a threshold-controlled pixel heatmap, and difference statistics. Everything runs locally in this tab.
The result is produced only after the input is checked. If the value cannot be processed, the workspace reports a specific error instead of guessing.
Features
- Side-by-side image previews
- Pixel-level heatmap
- Adjustable difference threshold
- Changed-pixel percentage
- Different-dimension normalization
- Downloadable difference PNG
Input and output
- Input
- PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP
- Output
- pixel comparison and PNG heatmap
- Processing
- Local browser
Example
Choose two PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, or BMP images in the comparison workspace.Limitations
- Review important output before using it in production.
- Very large inputs remain subject to browser memory limits.
- Animated GIFs compare the browser-decoded frame rather than every animation frame.
- Images are scaled to a safe comparison canvas when needed; TIFF requires browser support and is not advertised.
